Despite compliance with the high German and European quality standards for drinking water, it is necessary to use special filters to maintain stable product quality in drinking water and beverage production.

With our LW-Terra 2 special filter, we offer a device for water filtration in dispensing systems (e.g. for the production of beverages from concentrates) and for private use. The core component of the DW-Terra 2 special filter is the LW-Terra 10.1 filter cartridge.

These filter cartridges, which comply with the provisions of the German Food, Commodities and Feed Code (LFGB), achieve the following effects:

  • Retention of germs and biofilms
  • Retention of harmful materials such as lead and copper
  • Retention of certain pesticides
  • Retention of drug residues
  • Improved taste through retention of chlorine and chlorine compounds (e.g. trihalomethanes)

The use of the LW-Terra 2 special filter is particularly recommended in restaurants and hotels.

The composition of the materials is chosen so that substances significant to human health, such as calcium and magnesium, can pass through the LW-Terra 2 special filter unhindered.
