DOSAGE FOR THE PROTECTION OF PLANT TECHNOLOGY

Dosing is used in many ways in water treatment, e.g. to reduce corrosion in pipes, to optimise the operation of cooling towers, heating and boiler systems, and to provide reliable protection against germs. Dosing systems consist of a dosing tank, a dosing pump and accessories. In dosing systems, the dosing agent is conveyed directly from the transport container.

Note: When designing dosing pumps, it must be noted that dosing pumps dose volumes. If a dosing specification is given in mg/l, for example, this must be converted into a dosing volume using the density.
