Chlorine dioxide
Chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) is an odourless and tasteless gas that does not form chloramines. Due to these properties, it is widely used in the beverage industry for disinfection.
On-site production
Chlorine dioxide is produced directly at the point of use – either through the reaction of hydrochloric acid with sodium chlorite or using chlorine gas. For safety reasons, the method using hydrochloric acid and sodium chlorite is preferred.
Stabilised dosing solutions
In addition to on-site production, we offer you an economical alternative: stabilised chlorine dioxide solutions in combination with dosing technology – ideal for a wide range of disinfection and sterilisation applications.
For use as a disinfectant, a maximum limit of 0.2 mg/l applies after treatment.
